MUTations – Fanfiction as a Creative Space!
In our new project, young people with a migration background or refugee experience write their own stories – starting from characters and worlds they love: from books, series, films or games.
Fanfiction is our approach. Familiar stories are continued, changed or recombined – new perspectives emerge.
And because creativity is more than just text, we also work with collages, comics, short film scenes or theatre elements. In this way, everyone can find their own form of expression.
The project takes place in four steps:
- Collecting favorite stories
- Creative workshops using writing and theatre methods
- Developing your own fanfiction
- Presenting the results publicly
