Tonight I will pause Time just for a moment
Not ponder too much over what I have to do
Or when, or how, or why, just that I do
For life is waiting in the porch, doorbell buzzing
every two seconds,
I’ve just realised I can unplug my ears and listen
to the rhythm
All I need is curiosity to take the first step
outside,
I do not need to be held captive by years,
My heart can skip a beat and feet can find a
movement,
Tonight I will pause Time only for a moment,
For there’s much to do, much to see and feel,
Doesn’t matter why, just that I do.
